TONIGHT! THE DABBLER... 6.00-7.00pm. Nic Sewell hosts tonight's show for the first time, replacing Beck Irving who's been keeping the show alive for the last year. (Thanks Beck and good luck to you in the future!) Nic retains the colourful contributor line-up, brings his own musical tastes to the hour, plus offers listeners a free pizza or pasta at the Hot Rocks Gourmet Pizza Bar in Tahunanui.

The Elma Turner Library hosted two South Island book launches last month, Deep Down Things by Amy Brooke and John Ansell's I Think the Clouds are Cotton Wool. Running over two consecutive weeks, part one features Amy Brooke discussing the art of poetry and she explores poems and poets that deal with death. John Ansell talks about his work and reads from his book.
